There's Physio

Then there is Newcastle Performance Physio

You hurt your back. You injure your knee. Where do you go? Who do you see?

There is a huge amount of information out there. There is not a lot of quality. We are determined to continually provide you the best in pain management and sports injury rehabilitation.

Every human is unique.

Whether you are an elite athlete, or just an awesome human, you get the professional treatment - strength testing, technique assessment and ongoing programs to get you to where you are aiming. For those with loftier goals, we work to develop a scientific program based on your sport. We collaborate with your trainer and coach, and use our specialist knowledge to enhance your performance.

The more you know, the better off you are

Your nervous system is remarkable. With more information it is able to adapt and change to protect you from pain and injury. Education is at the top of our list. When you understand your problem, with a correct diagnosis, you find it easier to manage. Every time.

You don't need us forever

Tissue heals, nervous systems adapt. You are tough. You may break, but you will recover. When you do, go and move and live your life. Our clients often say "I hope I never see you again" - and most of the time they are right.

Hi, I'm Dave, the owner here at Newcastle Performance Physio. I love being a Physio, but i'm also a husband, father, football nut and science nerd.

This is normally the part where I tell you how awesome I am. I've worked in different countries, treated super fit athletes, treated famous people. But that's sort of who cares, right?
What you want to know is can I help you? You bet
My favourite thing to do is to take the latest in research and practice in sports medicine and pain and apply it to normal people.
The fancy bits of paper on my wall show that i've done extra training to help you get to where you are aiming. I've also, with varying degrees of success, been into the football codes, martial arts and resistance training.

I opened my practice because I saw a need for a place where people can access advice, education and treatment that is effective, modern and focused on the most important thing - you.
Check out our VIDEOS tab to get more information about what we do, how we are different and, most importantly, how we can help you.
If you've got some questions - awesome, give me a call. I don't have all the answers but I certainly have some good ones.
Otherwise, BOOK IN and let's get started.

Hi I'm Dan. I'm a Remedial Massage therapist with a keen interest in working with active people. I'm passionate about keeping people exercising by making them feel awesome.
With my weightlifting background I know the importance of looking after yourself. Using your muscles regularly is a good thing, and I keep those muscles working to the best of their ability. There's nothing like a stiff and sore neck to stop you in your tracks.
I work with many triathletes and weightlifters, both through training and competition, keeping them firing on all cylinders.
If you're an office worker with a sore neck, pregnant with a sore back or feel like you could more out of your exercise book in, feel better and get moving again!
